Peurto Ayora, Santa Cruz Island.
The Charles Darwin Research Station: A must-visit center located at the edge of town. It’s famous for its giant tortoise captive breeding programs and the tribute to Lonesome George, the last of the Pinta Island tortoises.
The Fish Market (Pelican Bay): A lively spot on the main pier where local fishermen bring in their daily catch. You’ll see sea lions and pelicans cheekily "begging" for scraps right next to the vendors.
Tortuga Bay: A stunning white-sand beach accessible via a scenic 45-minute paved walk from town. It’s a prime spot for seeing marine iguanas, blue-footed boobies, and white-tip reef sharks.
